Skiing in Lech
Skiing in Lech offers the chance to mingle with the rich and famous in one of Austrias' most exclusive resorts, a picturesque and traditional Alpine village situated in the Arlberg mountain range, with an upmarket image and a reliable snow record. Not for the budget-conscious, skiing in Lech is popular with celebrities and royalty, (Princess Diana famously was a regular) and enjoys a glamorous and expensive apres-ski scene, together with plenty of luxurious accommodation for the ultimate in comfort and relaxation. Skiing in Lech offers fantastic terrain for intermediates, with easy access to the resort of St. Anton, home to some of the most challenging skiing in Europe

Lech Skiing - Reliable snow conditions, haven for intermediates
Situated at 1,450m, the resort is famously snow-sure, with skiing in Lech reaching a top elevation of 2,800m and the resorts' sunny well-groomed slopes offering 110 km of piste. Skiing in Lech offers a total of 55 runs, with almost half of them catering to intermediates, who will enjoy touring the area and cruising down the many tree-lined runs. Beginners skiing in Lech will find the best nursery slopes at Oberlech, above the village, and various ski schools to choose from. Experts on a skiing holiday in Lech should make the short journey to St. Anton, a 20 minute bus ride, where the slopes are much tougher and there is plenty of off-piste for the adventurous. As well as skiing in Lech, the resort caters for snowboarders with a board park and a halfpipe.

Skiing in Lech - Favoured by the rich and famous, exclusive atmosphere
Chic, traditional and well-heeled, the resort offers an exclusive apres-ski scene, with the off-the-slopes activities holding as much importance as the skiing in Lech. A skiing holiday in Lech offers a host of entertainment, with the selection of bars, cafes and  restaurants ranging from young, vibrant and lively to chic and upmarket. Accommodation on a skiing holiday in Lech includes both small family run pensions and beautifully furnished five-star establishments, ideally placed in the village and offering spectacular views and all manner of facilities.
